Introducing Zi Yuan!

Dang Zi Yuan was born September 20, 2000. According to his nannies, he is a very quite and shy little boy who loves music and poems. We found him on the waiting child list for our agency, Children's Hope International, on October 30, 2007 and sent off our official request on November 21, 2007. Now we just wait for what is called a Seeking Confirmation Letter, which could take anywhere from 3 - 5 months. Then he will be officially ours! We are hoping that we will be traveling to China to get him somewhere around April to June.

His official name will be Tyler Ziyuan. We will let him choose whether he prefers to go by his American or Chinese name, because of course, we want his transition to be as comfortable as possible.

I will be posting pictures of his room soon, which is nearly completed thanks to both Shawn and I having had this last week off of work.
